Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder(COPD) limits the airflow into the lungs and it gets worse over time. It is generally caused due to the damage done to the lungs over many years. Difficulties such as shortness of breath and not being able to breathe make everyday living hard for the patients. COPD is mostly caused due to smoking.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation, helps patients with chronic respiratory problems to build their physical fitness. They are also made to follow certain breathing techniques to help them breathe better.

  • Bronchial Asthma
  • Bronchiectasis
  • Emphysema

Our therapists are devoted to improve your pulmonary fitness, reduce pulmonary risk factors and prevent further problems. A complete assessment of the patient’s condition is done and the number of sessions required to meet the functional goals is determined. Every session will consist of a warm-up, an endurance activity and a cool-down. There is also an educational component to keep the patients well informed about breathing techniques. We work along with the patients’ pulmonologists to periodically discuss the treatment progress with them.

  • Improved physical and pulmonary fitness
  • Decreased fear about breathlessness
  • Easier everyday living
  • Reduce fatigue
  • Improved quality of life.
